Well, The overwhelmingness of the Amsterdam bike culture may or may not have motivated me make my latest purchase. Or... maybe it's the fact that I have found beauty in old things. On the other hand, it may be because I now have a bike that matches my moms. I'm not sure if that statement is 'cool' for a 20(almost 21) year old to say, but I don't care. This blog is all for you! Mom, I hope you think my bike is as cool as I do! $25 and a quick tune up and now we can ride our blue and red Holiday bikes together!
I bought this 1980's deep red Holiday(yes, the gas station) bike for $25 from a vintage collector. All it needed was a quick tune-up and possibly new tubes for the tires(photos are from the repair shop). Now, I'll have a new bike for my 1mile commute to school! Oh yeah, and I can't forget it's second purpose, photo shoots!
I love it! I'm totally in search of a fantastic vintage bike. That one is SO cool. Score for you!
